Sexual Wellness
About my
Practice

Claude Fourie
Claude is a sex researcher and therapist who spends a lot of time thinking about the things people usually only whisper about. His YouTube and Social Media content have helped to establish himself as a sexual wellness educator.
Sitting at the intersection of clinical sexology theory and lived experience, he has dived deep into the worlds of emotional design, sex therapy, and the complexities of compulsive sexual behaviors.
Claude has navigated the transformative SASHA SAR process. He is known for balancing high-level clinical rigor with a refreshingly empathetic (and judgment-free) approach to the wild spectrum of human desire.
When he's not deconstructing relationship dynamics, Claude is hard at work on a forthcoming book examining the fascinating world of fetishism. By shining a light on specialized sexual expressions, he aims to kick shame out of the bedroom and spark a much more sophisticated and slightly more playful global conversation about what really drives us behind closed doors.

MEN, are any of these
inhibiting your sex life?
Challenges
Mis-matched Libido
Mis-matched libido (sometimes called sexual desire discrepancy) happens when two partners in a relationship have different levels of sexual desire or interest. About 28% of men in long-term relationships report distress linked to differences in sexual frequency, and if left unaddressed, it can deeply impact male sexuality, self-image, and overall relationship health.
Problematic Porn Use
Compulsive Sexual Behavior Disorder (CSBD) can have harmful effects on a person's sex life by creating unrealistic expectations of intimacy, reducing sensitivity to real-life partners, and making it harder to achieve arousal without pornography. Over time, this can contribute to erectile difficulties, decreased desire for a partner, and feelings of shame or guilt, all of which negatively impact self-esteem and relationship satisfaction.
Erectile Difficulty
Erectile dysfunction (ED) is the persistent difficulty in achieving or maintaining an erection firm enough for satisfactory sexual activity. 50% of men over 40 worldwide experience some degree of erectile dysfunction. The good news is that ED is highly treatable research shows that about 70–80% of men respond successfully to a variety of treatments depending on the conditions.
Low Libido
Low libido in men is a reduced interest or desire for sexual activity that is persistent and causes personal distress or affects relationships. It can be influenced by hormonal issues (like low testosterone), mental health factors (such as stress, anxiety, or depression), relationship problems, chronic illness, or even certain medications. Research shows that 14–15% of men aged 40–80 reported a lack of sexual interest lasting at least two months, highlighting how common and impactful this issue can be on men’s sexuality and overall well-being.
Sexual Communication
Problems
A sexual communication problem happens when partners struggle to openly discuss their sexual needs, desires, boundaries, or concerns. This lack of clear and honest dialogue can lead to misunderstandings, unmet expectations, and frustration. For men, poor sexual communication often results in performance anxiety, reduced confidence, and feelings of rejection, as they may be left guessing what their partner wants or perceiving silence as disinterest.
Sexual Boredom
Stuck in the same old routine, wondering if this is as good as it gets?
The numbers: 27% of women and 41% of men feel sexually unfulfilled in long-term relationships. Good news: It doesn't have to stay that way. As a clinical sexologist, I help couples break the monotony and reignite real passion with proven strategies.
Let's make sex great again together. Your best experiences are closer than you think!
Early or Delayed Ejaculation
Men can experience a range of ejaculation problems, such as premature ejaculation, delayed ejaculation, retrograde ejaculation, or complete absence of ejaculation. These issues can result from psychological factors like stress or anxiety, physical causes such as nerve damage or hormonal imbalances, or relationship-related challenges. Ejaculation problems can significantly affect sexual satisfaction, lower confidence, and create tension or strain in intimate relationships, making it important to address both the physical and emotional aspects of male sexual health.
Understanding Female
Sexuality
Understanding female sexuality is crucial for men to foster satisfying and healthy sexual relationships. Many men lack accurate knowledge about female sexual anatomy, arousal patterns, and the variety of ways women experience pleasure. Research highlights this gap: in a 2018 study, over 60% of men reported feeling uncertain about what stimulates their female partners, and only about 30% could correctly identify the female orgasmic response cycle. This lack of understanding can lead to frustration, miscommunication, and lower sexual satisfaction for both partners.
Performance Anxiety
Sexual performance anxiety is the fear of not being able to perform sexually, which can affect arousal, erection, and overall satisfaction, potentially leading to erectile dysfunction, low desire, and avoidance of intimacy. Up to 25–30% of men experience this anxiety at some point in their lives.
Q&A's
What exactly does a Clinical Sexologist do? Is it different from talk therapy?
Think of me as a specialist for the "final frontier." While traditional therapy looks at your history, I focus specifically on the intersection of your biology, psychology, and sexual behavior. We address issues like desire discrepancies, performance anxiety, and kink exploration using evidence-based tools. Note: Clinical sexology is strictly talk-based and educational; there is never any physical contact between the clinician and the client.
I’m embarrassed to even say these things out loud. Will you judge me?
My office is a "Shame-Free Zone." In my career, I’ve heard it all from the common "loss of spark" to complex fantasies and "taboo" curiosities. My role is to be your Safe Harbor, not your moral judge. We treat sexual health as a vital sign, just like your heart rate or blood pressure.
I’m struggling with Erectile Dysfunction/Premature Ejaculation. Can you fix me?
Most sexual "glitches" are actually communication errors between the brain and the body. We look at the "Vascular Bridge" and the "Performance Paradox." By dismantling the "Spectatoring" (over-thinking during sex) and using somatic exercises, we move you from "performing" to "feeling."
Is my [penis size / vaginal shape / desire level] normal?
In 2026, we know that "normal" is a massive spectrum. Most anxiety comes from the "Porn Standard" highly edited outliers that don’t reflect reality. We will look at the clinical data (like the 2026 Kinsey updates) to reset your reality and build your body confidence.

My partner and I have totally different drive levels. Are we incompatible?
This is the #1 reason couples seek help. It’s rarely about a lack of love; it’s about Responsive vs. Spontaneous Desire. We work on "negotiated intimacy" and finding your "Yes/No/Maybe" matches so that sex stops feeling like a chore for one and a rejection for the other.

How do I tell my partner about a specific fetish (like feet or impact) without "breaking" the relationship?
We use the "Third-Party Buffer" and "Neutral Zone" strategies. I help you draft the "script" so you can reveal your "Internal Cinema" safely. Most partners are more open than you think they’re just waiting for a safe invitation.
I think I’m addicted to porn/gooning. Can we address this?
We don't use the "shame model." We look at the Neurochemistry and how your dopamine receptors are being "overclocked." We work on a "Dopamine Reset" to help you find pleasure in real-world connection again without the "neurological hangover."
